San Mateo County History Museum will present Tom Rogers, Curator of Collections from Filoli, who will discuss the three stories of Filoli. Rogers will discuss the history of the Bourne family that built the estate, landscaped the formal gardens and provided its classic name. He will then talk about the Roth family that brought the gardens to worldwide prominence and then donated the estate to the National Trust for Historic Preservation who has operated the estate since 1975.
