Downtown Redwood City presents it's 2nd Annual Redwood City Salsa Festival. Amateur and professional Salsa chefs will compete for fun, prizes, and Salsa Glory at the mouth watering and exciting Salsa Tasting & Competition, where the public takes part in judging. Three stages of live music with Latin, Salsa and Family themes, as well as free dance lessons, will keep Redwood City grooving all day long.

Along with tasty salsa, local restaurants will also offer their delicious fares throughout the day. Featuring public Tequila tasting and a professional Tequila panel, exciting hands-on art projects, beautiful murals, chalk art and more, this family festival also hosts Art on the Square, where artists and artisans exhibiting their inspirational work will transform the streets surrounding Courthouse Square into an outdoor gallery. Redwood City’s Salsa Festival guarantees a fun-filled day of tongue-tingling salsa, great activities, music, entertainment, food, beverages, and a wonderful time for the entire family from noon until 8 pm. It’s going to be hot!

For more information and/or to download an entry form to compete for the $500 cash prize, please visit the official website. Deadline for entry is on August 29th.
