Flight Explorers - Rocket Blasters

Add Review/CommentFlight Explorers programs are half-day adventures into the wonders of aviation for elementary-aged children in Grades 1 through 5. Each session includes: an exclusive tour of the Museum’s Gallery, hands-on construction and flight testing of a model aircraft, a special flight simulation experience in the Flight Sim Zone, and special Flight Sim Zone pilot wings.
Sessions are scheduled during three-hour periods on weekends and holidays during regular Museum hours. Participants can choose from five different topics: Airplance Adventure, Space Shuttle Lab, Wright Flight, Silent Soaring, and Rocket Blasters.
Rocket Blasters - Get ready for blast-off! Explore Isaac Newton’s laws of motion while building and launching small rockets, including a water-powered rocket able to fly 50’ or more! The countdown has begun!
