Not a tribute band playing Beatles songs but a story about a man and his music who happened to be a member of the Beatles. Great interaction with the audience. Tidbits about how John and Paul had their manager Brian Epstein kick out their drumer Pete Best from the Beatles because he was "too cute" and was getting too many of the girls..... Kudos to Tim Piper whose uncanny resemblence to John Lennon along with his ability to interact with the audience "are you with me" as he portrays and tells a story of a complex, talented man weaving in and out of great Beatles and Lennon music along the way. The three guys backing Piper didn't attempt to "look" like the other Beatles but were just excellent musicians playing great music together and enjoying the gig. The Heritage Theater in Campbell is a great place to see a show. I just wish they would have more as it would quickly become my favorite place to see bands and theater! Collapse
