The heart of the San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival is the outdoor feria. Bring the whole family and all the friends you can round up to enjoy Mexican food, Mexican art vendors, family activities, and three stages of the very best of Mexican music and dance. Among the great artists and activities, the outdoor feria will include performances by headliner Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, MHC's own Los Lupeños de San José (celebrating their 40th anniversary!), local favorite Mariachi Azteca, and Raices de mi Tierra. We'll also have master potter Pilo Mora on site, all the way from Mata Ortiz, demonstrating this beautiful art form throughout the day, and Bill and Athena Steen from the Canelo Project demonstrating traditional, sustainable building techniques. Plus, we've partnered with ZERO1 to bring some fantastic Latino visual artists to the Festival and bring a vision of the contemporary Mexican village to the Festival.

Before the Feria, stop by Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph (80 S. Market Street, San Jose, CA) for a special Mariachi Mass sponsored by Lima Family-Erickson Memorial Chapel, Oak Hill Memorial Park and Mortuary, and Redwood Chapel.
