Youth poets of all levels are welcome at this non-competitive open mic. This event will be hosted by Adriana Garcia. She is a San Jose born and raised teacher and community organizer. She is also internationally recognized as a spoken word/poetry performer. She has been active in the immigrant rights movement since high school and is co-founder of the human rights organization MAIZ, Movement of Action Inspiring Service.
