What are saints? People who lived "a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away?" Idealized human beings frozen in stained glass or confined to the face of laminated holy cards? Or are they people, rooted in the earth and reaching for heaven, who have allowed themselves to be shattered, to be exploded by love so that others might live? Are they people like Bernadette, George, Mary, Genesius, Joan, Salvadoran university professors and their coworkers? Real people who call us to become like them, to become saints? The Saint Plays by Erik Ehn is a collection of six short plays that link saints from the past with ordinary people.

This event is part of the 2009-2010 Ovation Series. In the Ovation Series as a whole, there is a little dance, some laughter and tears, and music that will touch your heart.
