    Professor Lane Hirabayashi will present his book Japanese American Resettlement through the Lens, which features a unique collection of photographs by War Relocation Authority photographer Carl Hikaru Iwasak. The latter, the last surviving full-time WRA photographer and a native of San Jose, will also be present.

    This event is sponsored by Asian American Studies Program & Cultural Heritage Center, SJSU and General Collections, Dr.Martin Luther King Library. It is co-sponsored by Friends of Dr. Martin Luther King,Jr. Library and Nikkei Traditions (in Japanese Town), Silicon Valley JACL (Japanese American Citizen's League), Nihonmachi Outreach Committee, Japanese American Museum of San Jose, Yu Ai Kai Community Senior Service, and San Jose JACL.
