I just got back from their concert in San Jose and this truly was the best night of my life! The show is so incredible that there are no words to describe it. The lights, the music, the artistic arrangement but most of all their stunning voices are the highest level of anything I have seen. Their passion, emotion and flawless execution of every song is truly beyond remarkable! They gave everything they had and truly sang their hearts out. They have a great unity among themselves, they voices blend together in an awesome way. Individually each voice is so special. David hits all the high notes in a way that is truly amazing. Seb has this "pop" sound which has the romantic quality and sounds amazing. Carlos voice is very very strong, his singing just gets under your skin. Urs has such a great tenor voice as well, very lyrical but strong and sharp. I would listen to this group 24 / 7. Hearing them live was the best thing I have ever done. Collapse

I have been their fan over 25 years and this is the first concert I've been to. I almost didn't go due to the cost, but I am so glad I went. Every single person is talented and Stevie just mesmorized us with her perfect voice. For a band in their sixties they sure know how to rock. This is a once in a lifetime event that I will always remember. Collapse

There were only 4 "stars" at the show last night. Blake stole the show. Melinda, Jordan, and Lakisha were great at the belting out songs and OK on the rest. The remaining cast was a joke. Haley needs to borrow some of Gina's power but not any of the bad notes. Sanjaya has no pride in being male. Phil should be better considering he went to college for music and it is his day job "?" with the navy. Chris Sligh would be OK if he stuck to "rockish" songs only. The other Chris was a) the energizer bunny b) off-key c) on the stage too much d) given a master class by Blake e) pretty fly for a white guy f) all above except E Answer F PS. Having 10 people ask the audience " Are you having fun San Jose" seems a little desperate. Thanks Collapse

I've listened to Slayer for nearly 20 yrs and have seen them countless times. I must say they blew the doors off and showed the accompaning bands (Children of Bodum, Mastadon, and Lamb of God) just what complete metal mayhem is all about. The set started off with South of Heaven and went into Silent Scream. War Ensemble and Blood Red followed. Mandatory Suicide, God Hates us All, Season in the Abyss, Chemical Warfare, Dead Skin Mask, Cult, Hell Awaits, Anti-Christ, Raining Blood, Angel of Death rounded out one of the most finely performed and totally hardcore sets I have seen them play since I was 17. Lamb of God was great, but musically they are not as diversified and quite as EVIL as Slayer. Slayer, The Kings of Metal still reign and I expect it to stay that way for years to come. Collapse

Terrible acoustics.. couldn't understand a word Chris Martin was singing... He may have even had a voice track. Muddy lows and distorted highs... awful. It was very disappointing to a number of us who are real diehard fans. Had to go home and listen to an album just to reset the enthusiasm. Collapse

It was so great!!! He was all and more!I really enjoyed the show. Deanna Carter opened and she was pretty good too. Definitely worth all the while. Just wish I was the girl who got to sing with him!
