    Kaufman & Hart's Once in a Lifetime is a Broadway playwright's satirical commentary on Hollywood movie studios during the talking picture revolution. Witness as three inexperienced vaudeville actors attempt to "make it big" by opening a school for voice culture and elocution. They seem to get in over their heads when faced with a powerful movie executive, a totally incompetent secretary, and Hollywood's leading movie critic. Will they be able to survive in Tinsel Town?! Watch the story unfold as the cast of thirty-four students cover over sixty-five eclectic characters!
