This production was very entertaining and so clever. We expected community theatre and were surprised with the professional quality production- outstanding staging, set and acting. The entire family including adults throughly enjoyed the overall experience. Our family of four were able to enjoy an evening out for under $30 dollars; with cookies and milk the total came to $33 dollars (minus the cost of dinner). Is there a better entertainment value for families in the bay area? We're looking forward to the summer shows which take place outdoors. This show was sold out with a long line waiting for tickets. We were told by other families that the summer shows sellout early. We'll be sure to get our tickets early. This is an incredible bargain with great value. Collapse

The Children's Theatre has, once again, come through for us with a fantastic show. What a great way to celebrate the theatre's 75th birthday! Be warned, however, that this is not the Disney version of the play. Instead, it is a great rendition of the original fairy tale with just the right balance of humor and suspense. The actors (some 50 of them ranging in ages 8 through 18) are charming, the costumes are terrific, and the set is truly magnificent. The female leads (the witch, the queen, and the peddler, in particular) are outstanding and the dwarfs (Blick, Flick, Glick, Snick, Plick, Whick, and Quee) are adorable. Collapse
