Choreographed and directed by Javier H. Salazar, “HUAPANGO Y SON HUASTECO” is an exhilarating extravaganza of yearning musical rhythms, rushed quick-tapping heels, sensual movements, soulful voices and dazzling colorful costumes. The performance will feature professional and community artists. They will interpret the poetry, song, music, and dance expressions representative of the rich and colorful cultures of the Huasteca in the Gulf of México’s wild and craggy sierras, unfathomable jungles, plains and farm lands: A wonderful and unique region, outstanding in the multicultured mosaic which is MEXICO.
