    Join the San Mateo Library for this slide show presentation from Anthony Powell's Portraits in Black: Buffalo Soldiers and Sailors that chronicles Black Military History from 1866-1940. This American history story recognizes African Americans in the US Armed Forces who served and fought with heroism at home and abroad. Many of the images are from Mr. Powell's private collection and were captured by his grandfather. Seating is limited. Please RSVP 650-522-7802.
