    An insightful comedic drama about family, class, and self-discovery, The Maid swept through Sundance this year, taking both Grand and Special Jury Prizes (directing and acting, respectively). Catalina Saavedra (La Perra) gives a bold performance as Raquel, a live-in maid of twenty-three years who becomes increasingly territorial when her “family” brings on additional help. The second Chilean feature from director Sebastian Silva (La Vida Me Mata), Variety calls The Maid “…a sharply-cut gem."
