It’s time again for Pumpkins in the Park! This great family event is now in its 10th year in Guadalupe River Park. Produced by Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens, Pumpkins in the Park is a celebration of the environment, the Guadalupe River, and the fall harvest season. A bright orange pumpkin patch and a fanciful scarecrow display will welcome you to the park. We’ll have varieties of specialty apples to taste, fresh pressed apple cider, and entertainment by popular children’s entertainers the Banana Slug String Band, Andy Z, Zun Zun and many more. There will be tons of fun activities for children, including pumpkin decorating, fire trucks, puppet shows, environmental education activities and the chance to learn some traditional circus arts from Cosmo the Clown. A variety of food and beverages will be available for sale. There will also be free promotional items given away free throughout the day.
