    Cantabile Youth Singers opens their 11th season with "One Note at a Time”. The top concert speaks to the healing powers of music with an entrancing visit to the music and poetry of many cultures and traditions spanning four centuries. In the highlight of the evening, a rarely performed masterpiece, Place of the Blessed, by American composer Randal Thompson, Cantabile’s senior chorus, the Chamber Ensemble, is accompanied by talented instrumentalists of the San Jose State University Department of Music. Don’t miss this inspiring and entertaining concert with works from Bach to Britten sprinkled with traditional American songs.
