Come and share a slice of some local talent at the Milpitas Phantom Gallery. The Milpitas Camera Club, a recently established Milpitas arts group, is presenting an exhibit of the works of fifteen of its members. Subject matter includes wildlife, landscapes, still life compositions, travel photos as well as an eight-foot panorama taken at Death Valley’s Zabriskie Point. Several of the images were captured on camera club field trips, offered regularly every month by the club. Club members participated voluntarily in the exhibit and print selections were made through a blind-jury process. Most of the exhibitors have two entries in the show. Individual members include: Gina Anderson, Diane Arnett, Douglas Blissard, Chong Gan, Subrata Guhamajumdar, Kaz Hamano, Dave Herzstein, Scott Hinrichs, Karen Louie, Gavril Margittai, Frank De Meersman, Richard Patterson, Saravanan Veerappan, Larry Voellger and Ren Wu. Most of the artists are Milpitas residents and non-professional photographers.
