This show you must see. Kit Wilder(Direction), the four wonderful actresses, and the lighting and sound experts, have created a very human, heartfelt show at City Lights. Four women play multiple roles in this amazing story of love and hope. Each of their characters are distinct and so interesting. It's truly riveting theatre. The acting, lighting, sound and direction are superb. The performances are layered and subtle and wonderful all around. I happen to know all of them, but I'm telling you that it has nothing to do with my raving. You really have to go see this if you want to see some superb acting in an intimate venue. Collapse

I thought this was a moving play, a lot of sketches of various women who owned a string of perls over time that were engaging and believeable. It wasn't smaltzy and sentimental but dealt with serious issue with empathy and insight. The acting was very good, some really talented actors bringing the characters to life. I don't want to give it 5 stars as I don't want to raise your expectations so high you will be dissapointed. While not Shakespeare or Eugene O'Neil, still a moving play. Collapse
