Add Review/CommentThis will be the last-ever European Farewell Concert for the famous San Jose State University Choraliers. The internationally renowned choir will be competing in the Gorizia, Italy International Competition for Choirs July 8-10 in four different categories. Dr. Charlene Archibeque, retiring director of the 34 voice chamber choir, has announced that the group is the only choir from the United States selected for this prestigious competition and looks forward to the final tour with the world-renowned choir. For their European Farewell Concert, the group will perform their competition repertoire plus selected chamber choir literature, folk song arrangements and spirituals in preparation for concerts in Munich, Graz and Venice. The program will include works by Debussy, Bruckner, and Moses Hogan. Many of the Choraliers members have participated in the choir and traveled on previous European tours in the past.
