A juerga is the flamenco equivalent of a Jazz jam session. Our juergas approximate the juergas of Andalucia in the sense that the invited artists are free to perform whatever they desire and usually we have no idea of what will happen next. In Spain, juergas usually will begin after a formal concert or whenever 2 or more flamencos have gathered (usually with a bottle of "fino") to exchange ideas. Juergas in Spain last until the wee hours of the morning, unfortunately our juergas do not.
