Based on a book by Todd Olson, "My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra" delights spectators to a wonderful, gentle life serenade of the famous blue-eyed crooner. A myriad of songs performed by Robert Sholty, Shauna Shoptaw, Christa Boggs, and Peter Alexander combined with the ambiance of the Douglas Morrison Theatre enthralled and bewitched the night with feelings reminiscent of good, old-fashion movie dates. One memorable cast member that you must keep your eye on is Christa Boggs whose voice will enchant you. Catch this musical while you still can! Collapse

The performances are strong, especially during the trial scene. Chris Chapman as Atticus carries the show, the highlight being his rendering of the powerful and moving closing argument. The adaptation is skillfully done, preserving the best parts of the book and paring away unimportant details. The production is well presented and captures the feeling of the time and setting. Also some standout performances from the narrator (adult Scout), Calpurnia, and Tom, and Bob Ewell is perfectly creepy. Well worth your time and money! Collapse

I was able to attend a dress rehearsal of this classic dramatic production. Fine acting from all the players. Sets are simple but compelling, costumes are very period and effective. The trial scene is quite gripping, and you are moved at the end by the terror of the fight, and affection of the characters represented. A must-see for young people who need to read the book for school, and for everyone who needs to be reminded where we've been, and why we must never go back. Collapse
