American Ice Theatre, (AIT) San Jose's premier professional ice dance company is presenting a fusion of dance and technology with an ice performance for the whole family.The full-length hour and a half performance will include two new works incorporating dancers, skaters, music, lights and effects. Under the direction of Jodi Porter, the AIT ensemble creates a magical experience through the art of dance on ice. Inspired by the movement of the ocean and the changing landscape of the artic, Glacier blends dance with skating in a moving and powerful way. Tech Then Tech Now... is a 45-minute progression of technology from the industrial age to now and beyond. Tech Then Tech Now…will highlight visual technology mixed with dance, singing and skating. With special guest skaters this year’s AIT production is a visual treat for the whole family. Enrique Jarquin and Lucy Yoo will be returning as premier dancers on stage. The 2009 AIT ensemble includes: Billy Kheir, Elizabeth McGlauflin, Elizabeth Handley, Julia Ponomarenko, and Ben Westenberger. Featured AIT skater is Olympian Beata Handra. Proceeds from the shows benefit local children’s ice theatre programming: Golden State Synchronized Skating Team, Ice Crystals, and Redwood City Ice Theatre. The performance is sponsored in part by Arts Council Silicon Valley and sanctioned by the United States Figure Skating Association.

Willow Glen Little League is now accepting online registrations for the Spring 2010 baseball season. Be sure to register early, as registration fees will increase by $20 after December 31, 2009. In addition, there will be three "get-ready-for-baseball" clinics in January. Players will need to be registered to participate in those clincs, so register at the Official Website before the end of 2009.

This event is West Coast Martial Arts' Annual Cardio Kickboxing Turkey Jam. It continues a long tradition of burning Thanksgiving calories; bringing family together for a fun, non-eating occasion; giving parents a chance to get some time away; or just venting the stresses of the holidays. The event is free for all, ages twelve and older. Dress to sweat.
