Academy of Classical Ballet - California

The Academy of Classical Ballet-California, offers a disciplined, fun, and genuinely rewarding approach to ballet for all ages and skill levels. At the Academy, ballet is not just the main focus -- it's the only focus. While many dance institutions treat classical ballet as a supplement to other dance genres, the Academy believes that ballet training is undoubtedly the proper foundation to serve as the catalyst to those genres, not simply an afterthought. Regardless of age, skill level, and dance background, training at the Academy offers a unique, nurturing and growth-oriented program designed to fit students' needs.

The Academy of Classical Ballet-California was founded in 2008 by the former Associate Director of Los Gatos Ballet, Crystal Petzel. Crystal has a long running reputation in the ballet industry and is known for her strict adherence to the teachings of classical ballet, while offering a fun, positive atmosphere, high-energy level, and delivering measurable results for all of her students. Many of Crystal's past students have gone on to prestigious dance companies and universities, such as The San Francisco Ballet and Boston Conservatory, not to mention several finalists on the hit show "So You Think You Dance".
