Tabia African-American Theatre Ensemble
Tabia is a Swahili word meaning "talented". Tabia African American Theatre Ensemble has performed for ten seasons in the Santa Clara Valley. The group presents the contributions and culture of African-Americans through historical figures, poetry, storytelling, song, drumming and dance with some of the most talented local performers. As one of the Resident Arts Groups of the Mexican Heritage Plaza, Tabia's performance represents a long-term investment in cross-cultural collaboration.
