This is an exciting production - the writing is most professional and rings true, the cast members are all authentic and hold up the story - especially Long John Silver - a fine character actor.

"Must See Show!"

Never a dull moment! The set was fantastic, very realistic. I could smell the gun powder from my seat! The acting was superb! Much more than I expected from a college! Great family fun!

I had so much fun and was pleasantly surprised by how awesome the stage looked. I found every minute very entertaining; not one dull moment. I thought the way the book was adapted to the stage was brilliant and the addition of female pirates who were in fact pirates around that time added a fun element to the story. I plan on seeing it again with some family and hopefully some friends later in the week. There aren't too many plays I want to go back and watch again. Anyone who misses this play really misses out on some great theater. Collapse

Great show, set was fabulous. Cast was excellent and the sword fighting scenes were well executed. Loved that there were "female" pirates in the show. Great direction.

Absolutely fantastic show! By far the best I have seen at West Valley, or any other college. We were amazed at how sophisticated the set was considering a small college theater stage. The cast members are wonderful and they put their hearts into this performance. Some sword battles and stunts are outstanding. One definitely gets startled by loud gunshots! Hard to believe this is a college theater show. Kudos to the cast, and especially the director. Don't miss this show! Collapse

Saw opening night. What a utterly superb night of Theater. The Cast, Costumes, Pirate Ship and Set and everything was simply wonderful. It was like getting off the Pirate's of the Carribean Ride at Disneyland and being transported to a place of savage Pirates, beautiful maidens and colorful characters! Kudos to the director and all involved in this Rip Roaring production. The acting is Top Draw all round. The sword fighting and Gun battles are out of this world! You must see this terrific show! Fun for the whole Family to be sure!!! I'll be back with friends! Collapse

The Crucible was wonderful! The set is minimalistic, but so appropriate for the show, as most productions of The Crucible I've seen are. Pretty much all the actors contributed to the true awesomeness of the whole story, because it is such an ensemble show. Quite professional! Yes, based on a few main people, but EVERYONE put their hearts into it. There are some AMAZING moments, (if you know the story) my favorites: the dance in the beginning was very simple but cool. When the girls call names of people who they "saw" with the Devil, parts of the courtroom scene (honestly, every version of that show, it can get a wee boring, but that's Arthur Miller for you)& of course the end. *Note: Use of fog machine, FYI for health reasons. Theater is kind of cold, bring a jacket! Great, classic piece of theater, go see it! Collapse
