    Pacifica Spindrift Players

Pacifica Spindrift Players was established in 1958 by a group of ten people eager to assemble a community theatre in Pacifica. Years later, with a following of devoted theatre enthusiasts behind them, the group acquired an old Baptist church, and volunteers shared their carpentry, lighting and other skills to convert the building into a working theatre. Today, Pacifica Spindrift Players is a nonprofit organization that continues to attract the most dedicated and exceptional volunteers.

Along with staging a full season of shows each year, the Players are involved in the local community. Their contributions have included marching and entertaining in the annual Fog Fest Parade, donating or loaning theatre equipment and properties to local school drama departments and other community theatres, offering free senior center shows and local talent showcases, awarding the Tom Stack Educational Scholarship for the Arts award each year, and donating the proceeds of special benefit performances to deserving causes.
