    Sandra Wright Shen is a pianist who, in the words of André Michel Schub, "Should be heard by large audiences everywhere." Her spellbinding technical command is only a part of the picture. What leaves her audiences awestruck, as I have repeatedly witnessed, is her rare ability to communicate with disarming poetic originality and imagination.
