What leaves her audiences awestruck, as I have repeatedly witnessed, is her rare ability to communicate with disarming poetic originality and imagination. I think that Ms. Shen has great musical sensibility and a delightfully singing touch. Her understanding of how to express emotions in music is remarkable. What an arresting performer!
