Cinequest remains one of the last big festival bastions for the discovery of new and emerging film artists. Cinequest Film Festival (CQFF) presents a dynamic 12-day event of 200 international films with over 400 film artists, technologists, and professionals from 34 countries in attendance. Over 10,000 artists have attended CQFF to date.

Exhibiting unique social and artistic visions from around the globe, Cinequest’s dynamic festival engages audiences in thought-provoking dialogue, giving film artists and film lovers alike an opportunity to connect.     I've been to Sundance and the LA fest and I have to say, Cinequest had something that I think was more genuine about it. The films seem to be real indies but done with some professional style effort.... Expand

This is mind blowing duel between the most loved and hated characters in the history of mankind. It's a film that stares at you and doesn't look away long after the credits have stopped rolling.     My friends and I were extremely disappointed in the movie, which didn't seem to know what it wanted to be:romantic comedy, black comedy, slapstick, mystery triller. It just wanted to be ingratiating. Very inconsistent, and the lead actress became increasingly annoying in her ineptitude and cute expressions. The ending was laughable. It seemed that the filmmakers had particular scene ideas they were fond of, and tried to make a movie by stringing them together, but for more reasons than I will go into here. it didn't work. The roommate was fantastic, though! Collapse
