Saw this show the closing weekend and it was great. The story, a little loose on plot (kind of like Mamma Mia) was still fun and kept you involved. The interaction with the audience is also a fine point. The singers were amazing, especially the female leads, and the comedic timing of Esther. All in all, though the story line may be cheesy, the show was entertaing, the cast great, and the orchestra wonderful. Collapse

Having seen this show many times I didn't have too many expectations as to anything surprising, but this is a fun and somewhat unique production. The style is definately a bit over the top and sterotypical, but it serves the comical talents of the actors and amuses the audience. It was slow in places and rushed in others, but overall enjoyable. Collapse

Not Stoppards best play, not Bus Barn's best productions and whether and off night or just the casting, not the best performances of these actors who I have seen before and admire greatly. Timing was off, topic was over the heads of most of the audience and there was no applause between scenes as well as a lot fewer people after intermission. Interesting how easy it is to miss the mark with talent abounding. Collapse

I'm surprised that no one else has submitted a review of this delightful little production. The show takes a fairly sensitive theme and does a good job balancing it with plenty of lighter comical moments. There were certainly many laugh out loud moments. The cast is, for the most part, superb, showing a true commitment to embracing their character roles. The set is lovely, reminiscent of one you might see at the taping of a television sitcom. This is one of the better productions I've seen all year. A great pick for the holiday season! Collapse
