    Northside Theatre Company

Northside Theatre Company (NTC) was founded in 1978 by current managing artistic director, Richard Orlando. In 1980, NTC became a registered non-profit organization. Northside is currently in its 25th season and receives national attention for new play development while leading the way in re-defining the integrity and importance of small theatre organizations and their critical importance in the development of industry standards and emerging artists. Committed to theatre for all people, without regard to age, race, creed, culture or physical abilities, Northside is devoted to the manifestation of the human spirit by creating dramatic art through heart, collaboration and exploration.

For 25 years, Northside hallmarks have been experimentation, education and performance. Northside Theatre Company has been as much a philosophy as a production company. It is a place where imagination and inventiveness have a chance to blossom, a place where the human spirit is explored in bold and unpredictable ways.

Northside is an opportunity for emerging artists to work with and learn from seasoned professionals. On stage, old and young merge in a relentless pursuit of quality to give our audiences, liberating experiences.

Northside Theatre Company offers a full range of theatre services including: Acting and Dance Classes, Open Auditions, Outreach Projects, An annual touring project (Theatre On Wheels), a Five Play Mainstage season and various staged readings throughout each season.
