Pure enjoyment throughout, A Taffeta Wedding keeps you humming, bobbing your head and laughing (sometimes at shear amusement) as 8 talented vocalists entertain with all of the oldies we know and love. 40 somethings on up will enjoy it the most. I cannot remember when I have enjoyed anything more - of course it was greatly because I was totally back in my era - I was 17 in 1964! The performers were fantastic - I wanted to get up and dance with them by the end! If you want a fun, clean and refreshing experience - something you can safely take anyone to see...this is it! One other comment - I was with my 2 aunts and one has trouble walking - the nice young man that gave us the elevator ride deserves a pat on the back for his friendliness to us "older folks." Collapse

Although the stage was populated with a cast that had not even been a twinkle in their parent's eyes, the music they brought to life was infused with the spirit of the time. I thought I had caught a ride on H.G. Well's time machine and found myseft in that gentler age when sock hops and bunny hops were what weekends were for. I found myself mouthing each song's words, and my body's nervous system recalled instantaneously the twists, strolls, swims, watusi and bossa novas we all demonstrated on the gym floors. A must see show for those in their 50s; a mustn't miss show for those 60 and above. No deep story line to ponder, just fun and a glorious trip down memory lane. Tickets are going fast, so don't miss your chance to pull out your saddle shoes, your bobby socks, your poodled hoop skirts, slick back your hair and have a few hours of absolute JOY! You'll be sorry if you miss this one!! Collapse

These performers love the highs and lows of life and live it and overcome it through their music and dance. You do NOT want to miss this. Collapse
