Linden Tree Children's Records & Books

Linden Tree had its beginnings in 1981 as Linden International, Children's Record Specialists. Owners Linda and Dennis Ronberg combined our names to create the name of our new business, Linden International, with the goal of providing quality children's recordings to parents and teachers. As many of the recordings were by Canadian children's singers, we chose to include "International" in the name of our business.

In the Spring of 1984, Linden International became Linden Tree, Children's Records and Books and opened as a small store on 1st Street in Los Altos. Since 1989, Linden Tree has been in our current location at 170 State Street in Los Altos.

We continue to offer an excellent selection of children's recordings, but we also have an extremely broad inventory of books, as well as a wonderful selection of other "treasures": puppets and book- related dolls, tea sets, science and math games, toys, art materials, origami paper, water toys, paper dolls, infant and toddler toys, puzzles and gifts.

Because of our interest in other countries, we have always carried a selection of toys and gifts from other countries.
