    Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum & Edison Theater

    This Museum is dedicated to the acquisition and historic preservation of artifacts and local history as it pertains to film making in Niles. Furthermore, this board of directors is dedicated to the sponsorship of various activities such as the annual Broncho Billy Silent Film Festival and the establishment of a permanent archive including silent films and a museum in order to preserve this heritage and to educate the public about silent films and the unique role of Niles in the movie industry.
