    Children's Discovery Museum

Children's Discovery Museum was chosen as one of the Top 10 Best Museums for Kids by Parents Magazine. Featuring over 150 interactive and hands-on exhibits, it is one of the best places for kids in San Jose.

The purpose of Children's Discovery Museum is to serve the needs of children, families and schools as a center for learning and discovery. For children, it is a place to call their own, offering interactive exhibits and programs in a warm and inviting setting. As a center for creative play and expression, it provides opportunities for all of its patrons to discover the world through the eyes of children.

The Museum's exhibit philosophy is rooted in its mission, and responds to the distinctive need for children to learn through concrete interactions such as touching, exploring, manipulating and experimenting. Exhibit galleries are fully wheelchair-accessible and offer multi-sensory, layered experiences for children of varying developmental stages, interests and backgrounds.

The boys were 2, 4 and 6 at the time and each were entranced by the great sound, the funny lyrics, the dancing, bubbles, balloons, and of course Ray! The 2 year old requested "Boo's Band" whenever he wanted to listen to music, and the 4 & 6 year olds remembered a lot of the words after listening to the CD. Great experience! Collapse
