    San Jose Wind Symphony

    San Jose Wind Symphony fosters and promotes wind ensemble music by presenting concerts in a variety of settings (e.g. concert halls, schools, churches); providing opportunities for individual musical expression and growth; and assisting in music education through concerts, clinics, festivals and scholarships.


    San Jose Wind Symphony serves fans of wind ensemble music from all ethnic groups and income levels. In past years, it has performed in Long Beach, Fresno, San Luis Obispo, Oregon, and Switzerland.

        Three Concertos - Join SJWS as we showcase the top three finalists in our third annual Young Artist Solo Competition, each performing a solo concerto with the Wind Symphony. Sponsored in part by a grant from the City of San Jose. Location: San Jose State University, Music Building Theater. Date/Time: April 5, 2009/3:00pm-5:00pm.
