San Jose Jazz
Founded in 1986, San Jose Jazz brings professional, high-quality jazz to the Silicon Valley community through live performance and education. It presents jazz to the public in a myriad of ways, including free concerts, festivals, hands-on workshops, clinics, master classes, commissions for new works, education and outreach initiatives.
San Jose Jazz is renowned for producing one of the finest jazz festivals in the U.S., the AT&T San Jose Jazz Festival. In 2008, the Festival drew 100,000 spectators and participants. This organization also produces a variety of other jazz concerts and events, and it is an innovative organization whose commitment to education is at the root of its mission.
