    Artsopolis has several promotional tools to sell tickets and increase visibility for Silicon Valley arts & entertainment organizations. If you don't see an answer to your question about ticketing below, please contact us.

    ESAVERS HALF-PRICE TICKETS

    Each week, our eSavers weekly email features 15-25 different half-price ticket offers to upcoming events. This is one of our best promotional tools to get the word out to a list of arts-focused subscribers!

    • Ticket email goes out every Wednesday to 16,000+ email subscribers (as of 5/1/09)
    • An eSavers form must be received by Tuesday 12pm to appear in the following day’s issue.
    • Half-price tickets are only available to subscribers to the weekly email (not on the website)
    • Just 10 tickets or 10% of your house (whichever smaller) to participate, and promote the existence of your event to our 16,000+ arts subscribers
    • Tickets need to be half the face value of the original ticket (plus any mandatory facility or city fee)
    • Tickets are sold through the Artsopolis system, with low service fees paid by the consumer
    • Checks are cut every two weeks for the net collected, minus a 3.25% credit card fee
    • All consumer purchase information is available to you to download from our ticketing system, so groups may market to their buyers for future events

    PRIVATE LABEL TICKETING

    Looking to sell tickets right off of your own website? The Artsopolis ticketing software can be used as your organizations' sole ticketing solution.

    • No set up fee
    • Same day set up in most cases for general admission venues.
    • Low fee to the consumer. $2-$4 maximum for any ticket sold
    • Low fee to the arts group (3.25 % passed-along credit card charge for the amount for tickets sold.)
    • We offer reserved seating capability, full, half, discounted tickets, multiple price points, early bird specials, subscriptions, passes or any other type of ticket pretty much that you can think of
    • We give you exposure on 8 sites powered by Artsopolis (and growing all the time) sanjose.org (CVB), svcn.com, artsopoliskids.com, inticketing.com, Santa Clara County employees intranet, the San Jose Downtown Association, Tourist Information Kiosk at San Jose City Hall,  and the City of Saratoga.
    • We provide you with links and buy buttons you can post on your site and collateral, so you can brand and drive traffic to your own website
    • We field any tech questions, allowing them to talk to real people with no extra work for you in terms of support and confidence we are knowledgeable about the event and their questions
    • We mail checks mailed to you within 2 weeks of the close of your event
    • We provide a login system that gives you 24/7 access and a level of customization and assistance that best fits your needs
    • Customized features such as a phone number to direct buyers in the case that the online allocations are depleted, instructions on the confirmation about where to go when you get there etc.

    Following are a few notes/guidelines you should be familiar with before you set up a full or half price ticket offer with Artsopolis:

    • We accept performance/event offers up to 60 days in advance.
    • We require that you allocate a minimum of 10 tickets OR 10% of your house, whichever is less, for each performance/event date you choose to promote in eSavers. You may of course offer more than 10 tickets - it's up to you.
    • Patrons will purchase tickets to your event with their credit card directly through Artsopolis.com.
    • Your box office will be provided with a login and password once your event has been entered into the ticketing system, and your box office will be responsible for using this login and password to obtain the patron will call list for each performance.
       
      • Original Face Value of $15 or less = $2 fee
      • Original Face Value of $15.01 -$24.99 = $3 fee
      • Original Face Value of $24.99- $34.99 =$3.50 fee
      • Original Face Value of $35 or more =$4 fee

    Below is the required information you will need for filling out the online submission form to participate in eSavers. This promotional email is sent every Wednesday evening to our current subscriber base of over 16,000 Silicon Valley Arts enthusiasts.     Explanation of Required Information:

    1. YOUR EVENT TITLE: Name of event.
    2. YOUR ORGANIZATION: Name of organization offering tickets.
    3. EVENT LOCATION: Name and address of performance/event venue.
    4. EVENT PARKING: Please describe if there is free street or lot parking nearby, metered, or pay lot parking, or special permit parking.
    5. EVENT DESCRIPTION: Feel free to add or edit the information we already have to best represent your play and entice the audience who may not be familiar with your show/program.
    6. OFFER ALLOCATION/DATE/TIME: Number of tickets allocated per performance as well as the date and times of each performance you with to offer at discount.
    7. TICKET PRICE: The “regular” price(s). One price per performance date (usually your adult price, or most expensive ticket for that performance.)
    8. eSAVERS PRICE: The discounted price(s) - 50% of Regular price, no rounding up please.
    9. ADDITIONAL FEE: Please indicate if there is a mandatory per ticket facility or City fee.
    10. SEAT LOCATION: If this is not a general Admission ticket, please indicate approximate section of these tickets, or if this is a
    11. TICKET RESTRCTIONS: If this is a 21 and over.
    12. BOX OFFICE NUMBER: Please indicate a number for patrons to call when the online allocation is sold out.
    13. eSAVERS ISSUE: In which issue(s) would you like to participate?
    14. ALLOCATION AUTHORIZATION: Your authorization for Artsopolis.com to sell tickets on your behalf.
    15. COMMENT SECTION: Anything else we need to know about this ticket or offer?
    16. YOUR CONTACT INFO: Contact info of the person submitting the eSavers offer in case we have questions.
    17. ACCOUNTING INFORMATION: If you have not ticketed with Artsopolis in the last 6 months or have had an office location change, please let us know who to make the check out to and where to send it.
    18. PHOTO IMAGE: Photo image of event (preferably a JPEG image).
