About the artist: RICKEY VILORIA a Southern California boy born and raised in Pasadena now resides in the heart of the Silicon Valley...San Jose, CA. He attended Pasadena City College, then off to San Diego State University to pursue his passion of being a cruise director.

He is currently choreographing Once On This Island for Sunnyvale Community Players, and has been cast in Miss Saigon with American Musical Theatre of San Jose.

Bay Area credits include award-winning Pacific Overtures (understudy) director Robert Kelly, KEPT (understudy) under the direction of Scott Schwartz with TheatreWorks, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat directed by Marc Jacobs, the West Coast Premiere of Victor/Victoria, the American Premiere of The 3hree Musketeers directed by Dianna Shuster, and the Company Premiere of Singin'in the Rain with American Musical Theatre of San Jose. He is a proud recipient of the Ginny Award for Male Chorus Dancer for the 2000-2001, 2001-2002 seasons at AMTSJ. Additional AMTSJ productions include Children of Eden and Phantom.

Other Bay Area credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Andrew) with Broadway By the Bay; West Side Story (Chino) with Sunnyvale Community Players; A Chorus Line (Mark) with Peninsula Center Stage; and Show Boat with Foothill Musical Theatre.

Rickey has also had the unique opportunity to perform with Disney, Princess Cruises, Sea World, and Sesame Street Live! Rickey is grateful to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful directors, choreographers, and fellow colleagues in the Bay Area.
