Even though the lead is a good friend, which is why we went, we had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in the theater. Within the context of a small theater, the production was thoroughly professional, well staged and well acted. John Aney as Wilde was standout (and I'd say that even if he wasn't a pal), and he was well supported by the rest of the cast, particularly the actors portraying Alfred Douglas, his father Queensbury and the lawyer Clark. Most highly recommended. Collapse

The Museum is known for excellent community minded exhibits, and Valued Partners is no exception. The exhibit is dynamic, and includes a relevant and witty mini-theater, biographical panels on the life and work of the couple, well-thought children's activity areas (great hands-on activities), and several compelling programs planned throughout the duration of the exhibits. Hats off to the History Museum, they're doing great work there. Collapse

The show was fantastic, Majinga's illusions were as wonderful as ever! It was great to see everyone together again and Fontain's M.U.S.E. was outstanding! The food was good, too.

Having seen this show many times I didn't have too many expectations as to anything surprising, but this is a fun and somewhat unique production. The style is definately a bit over the top and sterotypical, but it serves the comical talents of the actors and amuses the audience. It was slow in places and rushed in others, but overall enjoyable. Collapse

I have seen Magique Bazaar a number of times, and always enjoy it immensely. Majinga has a colorful, mystical and mischievous stage presence. His knowledge of the art of magic is prodigious. His execution, choreography, timing, and audience interaction is heartwarming. An experienced performer who is guaranteed to give you an experience you will remember warmly for years. Genii, too is an experienced magician and great performer. And she's really cute, too! (Am I allowed to say that?) Together they create an ambience that transports the audience to another place, delighting the senses while challenging the mind. The music, costumes, mystery of magic, and -- above all -- the personalities of these performers, together makeMagique Bazaar an experience that is not to be missed. I have seen multiple plays at Foothill, and Adding Machine is one of the best. The cast does a great job of fulfilling the challenging demands of expressionism, and Tom Gough's able direction steers them well. There were impressive performances all around, but I was particularly impressed by Alex Hero as Mr. Zero and Suzanne Poulson as Miss Daisy, definitely the best work I have seen from them both. Sarah Griner also fills the stage with her commanding presence as the tour guide. This show requires some energy on the part of the audience as it is not a typical piece of theatrical realism, but stick with the action. You'll be glad you did. Collapse

Great script, great cast, great director! From the moment I entered the theater, I was transported into the world of the play, with the blare of band marches and the dimly lit stage, edged with barbed wire and multi-level platforms representing various military settings. From the moment the play began I was riveted, right 'til the end. Humorous, heart- breaking and inspiring. Most inspiring, aside from the script, is the cast of fine actors: standouts include Nichole Hamilton as Joanne Galloway, Thomas Gorrebeeck as a buoyant yet troubled Dan Kaffee and Michael J. West as an unforgettable antagonist, Colonel Nathan R. Jessup (who, btw, wrote a very moving dedication in his program bio). This production comes timely, passionately and effectively. I have to ask Kit Wilder how he was able to assemble so much good talent for such "A Few Good Men." Collapse
