Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library

The new Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library is an innovative collaboration with the City of San Jose and San Jose State University. This is a center for education where people can learn, improve lives and pursue dreams. The collaboration for the new Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library is unique in the United States. It reflects the best of cooperative efforts between a major city and a major university - a collaboration supported by Silicon Valley's innovators and leaders. The new King Library is part of a larger movement to revitalize downtown San José, to give it civic focus and attract new business. It is also part of the greater effort to extend the vast resources located in the city's center to its outlying regions. Library Hours Mon-Thur: 8am - 10pm Fri: 8am - 6pm Sat: 9am - 6pm Sun: 1am - 7pm
