Plaza de Cesar Chavez is located in the heart of downtown San Jose, adjacent from the Fairmont Hotel, The Tech Museum, the San Jose Museum of Art, and is walking distance from concert venues such as the San Jose Center for Performing Arts and theater venues such as the San Jose Repertory for the Arts.

Plaza de Cesar Chavez is the central location for the annual San Jose Jazz Festival, Christmas in the Park, and many other music, arts and cultural events.

This oval-like park has fountains on the ground that kids and the "young at heart" like to play around with, especially during the summer heat.

  There is metered parking around the park (which is sometimes hard to come by). However, there are a few parking garages and lots in proximity that offer free parking after 6pm.
