    Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Community Center

    A community and facility center in San Mateo dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr. The center is home to many youth activities including PAL, the San Mateo Police Activities League, drop-in basketball, several dance and fitness classes, and a summer-time pool. It is also where some of San Mateo’s favorite happenings take place. Candyland, one of San Mateo's signature community events, brings generations of families to MLK Center every year for a holiday stroll through Licorice Forest and Gum Drop Mountain.
