    Shoreline Amphitheatre

    The Pollstar Concert Industry Awards named Shoreline Amphitheatre the Best Large Outdoor Amphitheatre in the United States. The Wall Street Journal called it "The Cadillac of Amphitheatres." The San Jose Mercury News hailed it as "a major cultural blessing." The San Francisco Chronicle said it is "the biggest and most beautiful tent in the world." And the world's most popular and talented entertainers call Shoreline Amphitheatre their Bay Area home.

    Shoreline Amphitheatre deserves the acclaim. Simply put, Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View is the most successful outdoor concert facility in the country, based on the quantity and quality of the acts it attracts. Last year, over 450,000 entertainment lovers flocked to see such superstar performances by the Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, Coldplay, James Taylor, Alan Jackson, and Neil Young.

    Shoreline Amphitheatre was opened in 1986 under the direction of Bill Graham Presents. It was designed for the optimum comfort of performers and audience. Shoreline Amphitheatre is a state-of-the-art event facility incorporating all of the technical, visual, service and comfort elements that the Bill Graham Presents organization developed during its 30+ years in the entertainment industry.

    Shoreline's layout is easy to navigate and very flexible. Just inside the park, the Concourse Area is a fantastic event site in its own right. Two semi-circular, tree-lined paths, one on either side of the main entrance, curve through the park and lead to the Main Bowl. The lawn area incline is designed at an angle to allow for great sight lines. The Amphitheatre is designed so that no matter where you're sitting, you're never very far from the stage. Another plus is that each of the 6,500 fixed seats boasts three feet of legroom.

    Situated on over 60 acres in the heart of Silicon Valley 10 miles north of San Jose and 35 miles south of San Francisco -- Shoreline boasts one of the worlds largest tent structures, state-of-the-art sound and video systems, and helpful, friendly staff who make as many as 25,000 people per event feel safe, happy and comfortable.

      Car Parking
      For most shows, parking is included in the ticket price. Follow parking attendant's directions to closest available parking space.

      Bike and Motorcycle Parking
      There are plenty of free bike racks for bike parking located at the North Gate to the Right of the Box Office. Bring your own lock. Park at your own risk. First-come, first-served. Motorcycle parking is available in D-lot.

      Are you Carpooling?
      If you are driving with four or more people in your vehicle, you are invited to park in the front, reserved section of A/B lot, located directly across the street from the Amphitheatre on Shoreline Blvd. Thank you for carpooling.
