Venue
Lucie Stern Community Theatre and Center
The Lucie Stern Community Theatre has a 428-seat auditorium. Formerly known as the Palo Alto Community Theatre, it is the home venue for Palo Alto Players. West Bay Opera and TheatreWorks also use it on a regular basis.
The Theatre is part of a larger complex known as the Lucie Stern Community Center, which also houses the Palo Alto Children's Theatre. Built in 1934, this attractive Spanish Mediterranean-style complex is home to the City of Palo Alto's Recreation Department. A variety of rooms and areas, including a ballroom and an enclosed patio, are available to rent for meetings, weddings and parties.
