Goodbye Visual Composer – Hello Elementor!
Over the past 3 months we have been working to transition the Network over to a superior design program for building site pages. With the process almost fully complete, we are announcing our transition to this platform and wanted to explain why we have made this choice.
On the surface there are many similarities between Visual Composer and Elementor, but the later boasts a more advanced code base. Code isn’t everything though, but Elementor also has an organized team that regularly puts out improvements to the platform, an advanced feature set, and make a concerted effort to increase their templates. We’ve found almost all of their building elements are ‘responsive’, meaning that they look good in mobile and desktop view.

We discovered the platform has lots of flexibility, while performing faster than Visual Composer pages when asked to load similar or even the exact same content. We had many chances to test this as we transitioned content, and were impressed with Elementor-built page load times, and overall performance. The possibilities with this platform are impressive.
We think you’ll be as pleased as we are once you get the hang of working in Elementor. We suggest watching this short tutorial to help you get started with the basics. And as always, if you have questions, please reach out to us: NetworkSupport@Artsopolis.com
