Making your website accessible to visitors with various needs and interests is key to ensuring relevance and return visits. One way is to provide tools that translate your website's content into various languages. Depending on your target audience providing language translation may help to meet certain aspects of your organization's mission, such as connecting residents from different cultural backgrounds to arts experiences that they may have previously had no way to learn about. For those of our Network Members who are government agencies, providing resources in other languages other than English is not just a nicety, it's a necessity. This new translation tool goes a long way to achieving those accessibility goals that many strive for. This solution leverages Google Translate's automatic translation service and is now compatible with all aspects of our platform. And while many languages are available with this plugin, perhaps the most exciting is Spanish, due to the positive impact it will have on many of our Network Member's communities.
We think it is important to stress that while this is a useful tool, this will not replace a native speaker's translation. Many of our members may not be aware that ARTSOPOLIS is capable of building sites that are completely translated and implemented with language translated by native speakers.
