Google maps allowed us to tag locations of Public Art on their maps, but Mapbox takes it to the next level and offers a location 'clustering' visual. This lets the front end user know if there is a concentration of pieces in a given area, and indicates there's a walkability within that cluster.

There's also the option to use the detail view by choosing a piece from the slider at the bottom of the map. It zooms in on it's location and tells you about the piece.

All these elements are enhanced by the specificity of the search widget on the right hand side of the page, which helps users find things by either radius, public art type, medium, location, or collection.
If you've been considering adding the public art module, or you already have it - get ready for this fun upgrade! Mapbox will be implemented across all Network sites over the next 6 months.
