The communities that make up the ARTSOPOLIS Network teach us our business. The continued development of our product depends on the collective knowledge, experience and vision of all our members – large or small.
Our members represent a diverse array of organizational backgrounds, including arts council and alliances, community foundations, tourism bureaus, government agencies, media, and other nonprofit organizations. Some members emphasize arts and culture specifically, while others focus on a much broader array of events and activities across all areas of arts, entertainment and leisure. Other members focus exclusively on such content as arts education, artist profiles, or public art.
Most client websites are inter-linked, creating a powerful opportunity for increased visibility and traffic through cross promotion. By linking with one another, our members benefit from the collective marketing and PR efforts of each member. Opportunities for learning also help members to draw from a growing consortium of cultural marketing campaigns across the country.
Many Artsopolis Network members gather content not only for their own website, but also on behalf of other local partners within their communities. Those partners receive calendar content via a number of different methods, including XML, RSS, ICS, JSON, widgets, and plugins. Our members currently ‘power’ 200+ other calendars across the country.
